Our Training Program
Our Competency-Based Training Program for health professionals is designed to provide a blend of classroom instruction (25%) and hands-on fieldwork (75%). This ensures participants are equipped with the skills needed to address real-world public health challenges.
Who We Target
Our program focuses on empowering health professionals across three key levels:
- National Level
- Regional Level
- District Level
To improve the health of the people of Tanzania and beyond, through training and service in applied epidemiology and laboratory management
To assist Ministry of Health (MoH) in building a sustainable network of highly skilled field epidemiologists and laboratory managers who measurably improve public health
To strengthen the capacity of MoH to collect and utilize surveillance data and manage national programs by expanding surveillance programs and strengthening laboratory support for surveillance, diagnosis, treatment and disease-monitoring
