Vision
To improve the health of the people of Tanzania and beyond through training and service in applied epidemiology and laboratory management.
Mission
To assist the Ministry of Health (MoH) in building a sustainable network of highly skilled field epidemiologists and laboratory managers who measurably improve public health.
Goal
To strengthen the capacity of the Ministry of Health (MoH) to collect and utilize surveillance data and manage national programs by expanding surveillance programs and strengthening laboratory support for surveillance, diagnosis, treatment, and disease monitoring.
